Working With Students and Their Families…
We recognize that the students referred to CEP may need more than
academic and behavioral help. That is why we create partnerships
within the communities we serve to provide comprehensive services
for students and their families. During the admission process we
identify families who are in crisis or need support and then through
our teaching and administration we monitor students' progress and
needs.
CEP provides a "wrap-around" approach to help address
the needs of each student, including individualized transition programs.
Services – such as counseling, psychological evaluations, support
for teenage parents, and on-site truancy and probation officers
– are provided by community-based providers who work in-site in
our CEP Student Service Center. We supply office space, telephone
hook-ups and appointment coordination to these providers. Through
this centralized, coordinated approach, CEP provides additional
services that can truly help students in need…right in our school.
