An Innovative Approach...
Community Education Partners (CEP) was founded in 1995 to partner
with public schools and their communities to solve the growing problem
of disruptive and low-performing students in the classroom. The
"Three Bs" are integrated into every aspect of the CEP
program, underscoring our goals to increase
attendance, make schools safer and accelerate learning in reading
and math.
CEP has created a measurable, working model for educating this special population of students.
Our off-campus programs focus on the students who need special attention and allow teachers on local district campuses to
focus their efforts on the ready and willing students remaining in their classrooms.
Now in Texas and Pennsylvania, CEP schools teach students behavioral
skills and accelerate reading and math skills so they can return
to their sending schools prepared to learn and follow the rules.
By improving academic achievement, solving behavior problems that
are a threat to school safety and helping to decrease drop-out rates,
CEP creates a win-win solution for students, parents, teachers,
school districts and communities.
CEP's team of educators and leaders works
with the community and enjoys the support
of districts, teachers' unions, community leaders, local and state
elected officials and the business and civic organizations in the
school districts we serve.
