Orientation

CEP recognizes that every student has a unique set of desires and challenges. A single approach to help all students succeed is neither appropriate nor realistic.

During the orientation program, CEP assesses each student’s academic, career and social skills. An individual Student Success Plan is then developed for each student - providing details on how each of their academic, behavioral and social goals will be achieved.

The orientation program is designed to familiarize new students and their families to the school’s mission and instructional methods. Our Welcome Center staff explains the opportunities and expectations that will help students improve their academic skills, pass courses, earn credits and achieve grade promotion.

After orientation, students join a learning community and begin to work on their individual Student Success Plans.
