Our operating model is based on the three "B’s" – Be Here, Behave, and Be Learning. These tenets stress the importance of attendance, appropriate behavior and academic achievement.
This is what we live by:
Be Here - CEP provides services and resources to maximize student attendance. CEP takes an active role in reaching absent students and notifying parents or guardians when students do not attend class.
Behave - CEP teaches personal and social skills designed to develop positive student behaviors. CEP staff members discuss the student’s history of inappropriate behavior and why these behaviors have occurred.
Be Learning - CEP offers a rigorous curriculum aligned with state and local standards.
CEP is based on the belief that students can improve their academic success if given the time, opportunity, structure and encouragement. Academic and behavioral progress is monitored through each student’s Student Success Plan and most students return to their home schools better prepared to be successful.
In order to be successful, CEP students must follow the Three B's: Be Here, Behave, and Be Learning.
